EVENTS EMCEE

Yumika has extensive experience as a live event emcee for both small, intimate crowds and larger audiences of over 1000 people. She is well-suited for a variety of events, such as international brand launches/activations, corporate events, live sports coverage, as well as fitness and lifestyle-focused events. Yumika has worked with brands such as: BVLGARI, SK-II, Dyson, Superdry, Clarins, Desigual, Under Armour, Shu Uemura and Givenchy.

TV PRESENTER

On-screen, Yumika has presented for various networks, covering sports, lifestyle, entertainment and more.

Some of Yumika’s previous experience includes hosting a three-part segment on MTV Asia’s hit show “Just Tattoo of Us”. Yumika acted as a celebrity client on reality TV competition, “The Apartment”. She also held a role on “The Elements: Cosentino”, a Sony Television Network production on AXN.

Leveraging on her experience as a stylist, Yumika has also presented for segments in Diva Universal’s “How Do I Look Asia” series, in partnership with Zalora. She has also been involved in filming digital shorts, such as“Style Me Up” for Wing Tai Retail and “Style Swap” for Lululemon Singapore’s social channels.

In sport, Yumika hosted Singtel’s Mio Stadium “Premier League HQ” and “Premier League Express” shows, which aired every Sunday. Here, Yumika gave post-match summaries and highlights throughout the English Premier League season. She also worked for ESPN, covering the Champions League finals. 

Yumika also regularly presents for Insider TV productions. She can be spotted showing audiences around the sights, sounds and tastes of Singapore, on their digital and partner channels.

ACTING

Building on her modelling experience in South-east Asia from the age of 16 – completing contracts in Thailand, Taiwan and Singapore – Yumika also honed her craft as an actor, taking on various roles in TV commercials before delving into film and television. 

In the past year, Yumika played a small role on the Toggle series “No Catalogue”. More recently, she landed a role in an international movie, directed by Zeze Takahisa, slated for release in late 2020. She is also due to appear in a US-produced HBO series, to be released in 2020.

INFLUENCER

Having cemented her reputation in the industry, Yumika makes regular appearances at Singapore’s media events and has cultivated a strong reputation – online and offline – in fashion, lifestyle, fitness and sustainability. She has built a following of over 48,000 on social media, which has served as a powerful platform for Yumika to advocate causes surrounding health and sustainability. 

Focusing on using her influence for a positive purpose, Yumika regularly educates followers on key environmental topics and news to raise awareness about sustainability and climate change. She also empowers her audience to be more conscious about what they buy, by reviewing ethical brands that she has incorporated into her own household. 

Her large following has also granted Yumika the chance to collaborate with prominent brands that align with her lifestyle habits, particularly her passion for fitness. Currently, Yumika acts as a brand ambassador for both ClassPass Singapore and F45 Orchard.
